Our food concept

The restaurant is the biggest unit at our hotel. Since 2006 when Agneta and Anders Scharp took over the hotel, the restaurant has once again become a natural meeting place for Trosa’s inhabitants on ordinary days as well as for celebrations.
Sörmland is rich in good produce and we constantly try to reflect that in our menus. Our aim is to provide our guests with good food and to remove everything that is artificial.
At the breakfast table it goes without saying for us that, for example, the scrambled eggs are made from eggs from locally reared organic hens and organic cream and nothing else. The work is ongoing to make it easier to use local produce such as game, e.g. venison, wild boar, wild duck, etc. We hope that these aims can be seen in our dining rooms: the classic dining room with white tablecloths where meals have been served since 1867 as well as our modern bistro, which was built in 2008.
